With Covid-19 throwing university schedules up in the air, the Union Human Resource Development Ministry on Wednesday issued an advisory for the 2020-21 academic calendar, keeping in mind lockdowns and minimized face-to-face teaching sessions.

According to the advisory, Grading of students could be a composite of 50% marks from Internal evaluation and the remaining 50% marks from the previous semester. 100% evaluation may be done on the basis of internal assessments also if university so decides. Period of lockdown may be treated as ‘deemed to be attended’ by all the students/research scholars.

Universities advised adopting alternative and simplified examinations, including reducing the time from 3 hours to 2 hours. Exams may be held in offline/online mode. In view of these guidelines IPEM Law Academy will take the necessary steps further.
