B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) and M. Ed (Master of Education) both are the degree course, related to the teaching profession.

 

B.Ed is a degree or program that can be done after a bachelor’s degree in commerce, arts, and Science, etc. The M.Ed degree or program can be done after post-graduation in any stream. Although B.Ed and M.Ed both are the degrees to become a teacher they differ in many aspects.

B.Ed Programme

 

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) programme is an undergraduate degree course which prepares students for work as a teacher in various upper primary schools as well as high school.

M.Ed  Programme

 

M.Ed  (Master of Education) programme is a post-graduate degree course. This program focus on different aspects of education, which include counseling, curriculum, and educational technology, etc. The candidate is trained in a specific subject according to their preference. This course provide knowledge of the education system and pattern more clearly.

The candidate must have completed of master’s degree in any stream from a recognized University e or college that has received approval from the UGC.
